Use in a reptile hood or clamp fixture only. Make sure hood/clamp has a ceramic fixture base for halogen lamp to screw into (no plastic fixtures). Only operate lamp 8-12 hours per day, giving your animals an appropriate “photoperiod” (day/night cycle).
