Seachem Laboratories KanaPlex Fungal and Bacterial Treatment 0.2-oz
DESCRIPTION
Seachem KanaPlex is a versatile and effective antibiotic medication designed to tackle a range of fungal and bacterial infections in both freshwater and marine aquariums. The key ingredient, kanamycin sulfate, makes KanaPlex particularly effective against common fish diseases such as dropsy, popeye, fin and tail rot, and septicemia. This broad-spectrum treatment works by targeting infections directly through the fish’s skin and gills, making it a valuable option even when fish are not eating or are reluctant to consume food.
Seachem KanaPlex stands out for its flexibility in treatment methods. It can be administered directly into the water or incorporated into a medicated food mix, which is ideal for tanks with invertebrates. This approach minimizes the impact on sensitive species while still delivering effective treatment. Additionally, KanaPlex is gentle on biological filtration systems, and any residual medication can be easily removed using activated carbon after treatment. Whether dealing with internal or external infections, KanaPlex offers a comprehensive solution for maintaining the health of your aquatic pets.
