- Store the test kit and reagents in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
- Keep all reagents and equipment out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion or contact.
- Wear safety glasses and avoid contact between reagent chemicals and skin, eyes, or mouth.
- Always read reagent labels and instructions before starting; note first aid information for accidental exposure.
- Tightly close all reagent containers after use and do not interchange caps to avoid contamination

- Add 5 ml of water to the test vial.
- Add 5 drops of O2-1 reagent and gently swirl for 20 seconds without shaking.
- Add 5 drops of O2-2 reagent, swirl for 15 seconds, then let it rest for 3 minutes (marine water) or 1 minute (freshwater).
- Add 5 drops of O2-3 reagent, swirling for 5 seconds after each drop, then wait 1 minute for color to develop.
- Place the vial against the white color chart and compare colors from above to determine oxygen concentration.
